Amaranthine ; everlasting/eternally beautiful
Gripping and raw, a highly physical and fast paced male and female duet, which tells the story of two people who are deeply in love, and in conflict.
As the couple desperately try to reconnect, the pushes and pulls of heated argument are felt, as is the appreciation of space, acceptance and eventually, understanding.
Combining a rich mix of dance styles, the movement is both powerful and risk taking, drawing from an amalgamation of dance techniques including contemporary dance, b-boying, capoeira and partner work.

"movement should announce the motion of the mind of the one who is moving" Leonardo Da Vinci
Inspired by notions of love, conflict, loss and departure.
A glimpse at the inner states of the mind, when it creates its own altered reality where it chooses what we see or not to.
Where gestures tell a story of home and how the body is consequently influenced by both its own internal climate and the surrounding environment.
